Craigslist and Ebay were made for each other

I am just posting this as some proof that if you do put in some effort, you will get rewarded. Recently, I found a laptop on craigslist with a broken LCD screen for $250. I know that I cannot fix a broken screen, so I ordered a new one from ebay for $40. It took me about half an hour to replace the screen after I received the new one. I then listed the laptop on Ebay starting at $290. It sold a few days later for $437.65. I made nearly $150 in a few days just because I used my skills to make money. I didn’t look at it as selling, I look at it as just repairing it and offering a good as new laptop to someone in need of one.

It Just goes to show you that if you have a skill, you can utilize to make some money on the side. $150 isn’t enough for rent or a mortgage, but if I fixed 5 laptops per week, that isĀ $750 per week.
