Get Creative! It is how you will make more money.

Having a creative side is an invaluable asset. My long time girlfriend, Renee’, enjoys taking photos. So in order for her to generate some extra income, she sells her photos on stock photography websites. She also is into drawing and caligraphy, so she creates custom versions of names. She will take any name and make it asthetically beautiful on paper. To my surprise, there was a market for just that and since she started, she has made a good income from just these two things. She takes something that she enjoys doing and turns it into a part time business. She actually sells most of her name drawings on Ebay and Deviant Art.

That is a great example of what you should do. Take something that you enjoy doing and turn it into a very profitable business. If you are good at carpentry, try making custom bird houses or something of that sort. Many people turn hobbies into careers, all while working from home. If you search ebay for things like that then you will surely find people who build items themselves and them sell them.

I am better at being a blogger and webmaster than an artist, however I like to believe that blogging is an art. It is an art that requires attention to detail, trial and error, and lots of time. If you are not a good blogger, then people will probably not read your blog.

Take something you love to do, if you like to paint, then paint, if you like to make baskets, then weave away. Do something that you love, offer your service for little cost, and as you get more sales, raise your prices. As demand goes up, raise prices. If you can get a customer base, you are guaranteed an income.
