grantspro.info Review

I came accross www.grantspro.info on google.  I have always been skeptical of grant programs, as I highly doubt that the government would just give money away without proof of need.

It seems that I was correct.  I came accross some reviews for other “Get government grants” sites, just like grantspro.info.  In those reviews were experiences of other people signing up for a “trial cd.”  All that they had to pay for initally was a $1.95 or $2.95 shipping fee, but other fees eventually appeared on their bank / credit card statements.  As much as $79.99 per month was taken.  The catch was that in order to cancel the trial, you would have had to mail back all of the materials that they provided to you, and get a receipt from the postal service to prove it.

On the CD or information package that you would be sent, there are usually a few documents or videos saying that if you pay such and such fee, they will walk you through the process of writing Grant applications.  While this may be true and they may show you some basics, it obviously doesn’t work.  If it did work, wouldn’t grantspro.info be using those same techniques to make money, rather than charging other people to teach them how to do it?  It doesn’t make much sense.

In the current economic situation, the US Governemt is not going to just give money away to individuals with no strings attached.  If this was the case, we wouldn’t have a welfare system or bank loans either…
