Selling Ebooks
Despite what you may think about those “sales letter” websites that get people to buy an Ebook, these sites make a decent income for the people who run them. The websites are relatively low maintenance and are not costly to run. The business model that these sites are set up on is a proven model and is able to make the owner of a popular site a few thousand dollars per month.
I support the business model and the idea, but I do not support the products that these sites sell. They are just trying to make a decent living online, but are not being completely honest with the buyers.
If you want to start up a site like this, feel free to. I see no reason why you can’t make money online using this method if you have a legitimate product to sell.
Don’t make false claims.
Use real customer testimonials.
Give your friends and family a free copy of your Ebook.
Timeless content will get you more customers and better reviews.
You can also put adsense on the site to create a better stream of income. If people don’t like your particular product, you might as well make money off of your competitors. Every time someone clicks an ad for another product, you will get money. So even if you don’t get too many sales, you can always monetize the traffic regardless of the fact that the visitor may not have any money to spend on your product.
There are always ways to make money online.
