Variations on pay per click ads
Usually when you do a google search, you get your results, and to the right of the results you should see the adwords ads. Normally I don’t even pay attention to them, unless they really stand out from the rest.
So what makes you think that an ad like “Vacuum Cleaners on sales for $199.99, get yours today” will get a ton of people to buy that vacuum cleaner. I know that it doesn’t make me want to buy their vacuum cleaner at all. An ad stating “Don’t buy our vacuum, buy all the other vacuums first, when they fail you, use ours” is much more confident and instructive compared to the other one. The second ad would be much better than the first one. The first one is very traditional and while good, it doesn’t have that extra edge that the second ad does.
Another variation would be “Crappy toilets revealed, don’t buy a toilet until you read this.” It is almost funny how the ad is portrayed. I know that I would probably click on it just to see what they were talking about.
Great ads get people’s attention, they make people want to click it and learn more about what you have to offer. As soon as I changed around my ads, my sales on one of my sites increased dramatically. I would recommend changing your ads around if you are not getting the amount of sales that you expected, if you are doing fine right now then don’t change a thing!
