Which affiliate marketing program is right for you?
When considering affiliate marketing programs you should always do research and find out if the program is right for you. Your success depends on how well known the program is. You must participate in a program that offers legitimate offers and products.
Affiliate programs that are well known will normally lead to more income from the program. Always do research to find out how reliable and trustworthy an affiliate program is. Associating yourself with an established affiliate program will guarantee timely payouts aswell.
Try to find out when the affiliate programs pay you. I would not recommend a program that only pays when you tell it to. Try to get with a program that pays once or twice per month so you will regularly get paid, while not having to worry about it. Programs that pay in a timely manner will have more advertisers selling their products and a higher success rate.
The ideal affiliate program will have items and offers from every corner of the market. Smaller affiliate programs might not have enough variety for you or your viewers. Both Clickbank and Google Adsense are great places to start.
I do not recommend signing up with a program that requires you to sell 10 items before you get paid, regardless of how much you make. Chances are that it is difficult to sell 10 items if this is a requirement.
