You may think that you can’t run a website.
I have been running websites for a few years now, and have had fun doing so. I had no idea how to create a website when I first started. I was using point and click editors. Later on, I took HTML classes and started creating more visually appealing and advanced websites. HTML is very handy to know even if you won’t be hard coding the website. You may need to insert a line of code on the point and click editor to achieve the desired result.
I am not going to tell you to go out and learn HTML to make money online, because you do not need to know it. I make good money from this website and only used a few lines of HTML for every post or page that I create. I use WordPress to run this site, it is a very advanced piece of blogging software. I run other sites using Adobe Dreamweaver and some on pure HTML. The main reason that I chose WordPress for this blog was so I could edit and create new posts within minutes, rather than having to reformat all of the links just to put some new content up.
If you want your website, or soon to be website to be successful, you need new, unique content regularly. Timeless content is key to recurring visitors and steady traffic over the years. I do web searches to get ideas for posts, I never copy sentences, paragraphs or articles. I don’t copy for two reasons; the first reason is that it is very wrong to steal other people’s content, and the second reason is that Google will exclude duplicate pages from their index. You may even get a few nasty complaints and negative publicity.
I have generated a small but recurring fan base for this website because I provide articles that are not available anywhere else. If you do the same, your site will be successful.
